Sea Tow Unveils Where Boaters Belong
This week, Sea Tow proudly unveiled its new brand identity of Where Boaters Belong™. Having previously been known strictly for its marine assistance expertise, the announcement, issued Tuesday, reflects Sea Tow’s evolution into a full-service organization dedicated to providing members with the savings and services they want in addition to the on-water assistance they need. Boating Safety & Education Foundation Announced
Last month, during the Miami International boat show, Sea Tow announced the formation of its Boating Safety & Education Foundation – further signifying the company’s dedication to the safety of the recreational boating public at large. According to executive director Michelle Zaloom, the foundation’s mission is to utilize Sea Tow’s professional resources to provide qualitative safety and educational programs to the boating public in an effort to reduce the number of recreational boating accidents and fatalities through this education.

Franchises Honored at Sea Tow Annual Meeting
Sea Tow kicked of the start of its 25th anniversary at the company’s annual meeting at the Amelia Island Plantation (Fla.) this past January The meeting’s theme – "Defining the Future" – was chosen to celebrate the company’s growth in a year of economic downturn. Sea Tow Wrightsville Beach (N.C.), led by owner Capt. Chris Willis, received the coveted Franchise of the Year award and Capt. Walter Garschagen was recognized as Sea Tow’s Rookie of the Year. New Franchise Locations Announced
Sea Tow has recently opened two new franchise locations: Sea Tow Pamlico Sound (N.C.), owned by Capt. Mike Smith and Capt. Larry and Kim Williams, and Sea Tow Corpus Christi (Texas), owned by Capt. Jason Wendt. The company also announced the sale and transfer of ownership of two existing franchise areas. Capt. Garry O’Reilly is the owner of Sea Tow Northern Chesapeake, a new area that was formerly serviced by Sea Tow Philadelphia and Capt. Ed and Karen Schrader are the new owners of Sea Tow Hampton Roads (Va.).

Additionally, Sea Tow Candlewood Lake (Conn.), which also serves Lake Zoar, has expanded its service area to include Lake Lillinonah.

All franchises are open and operational.
